We Owe Them Nothing
Today, Osama bin Laden’s family demanded proof of his death and want a probe into the raid.
How many times have al-Qaeda gone back to their tens of thousands of victims and proven to their family that they are dead? How many times have al-Qaeda proven that they gave those dead proper burial? How many times have al-Qaeda explained in detail their missions and revealed how they occurred? How many times have al-Qaeda made sure that the families could see the body? How many dead bodies went missing in the smoldering ashes of the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and a field in the middle of Pennsylvania?
The United States of America owe Osama bin Laden’s family nothing. He openly waged a war with the United States. He even brought the war against the United States against other Muslims in violation of Islamic law. He made up his own version of Islam to justify killing innocent bystanders. He waged war while hiding behind a compound’s wall. He utilized soldiers who didn’t wear uniforms and hid amongst innocent civilians.
He suffered a coward’s death. He put his own people in jeopardy while he hid. He killed his own people and justified it with a made up version of Islam.
If they want to know for certain he is dead, they should try to find him.
